Mike McCoy (Elvis Presley) is a handsome touring rock singer who enjoys living the bachelor lifestyle, and also happens to drive race cars. But at a tour stop in Santa Barbara, Calif., three women -- auto heiress Cynthia Foxhugh (Shelley Fabares), writer Diana St. Clair (Diane McBain) and Mike's drummer, Les (Deborah Walley) -- vie with one other to win him for a husband. Mike, who doesn't wish to commit, must also prepare to drive his sports car in the Santa Fe Road Race.
